Pay Dues Online!

Annual dues for each property owned in our HOA are $30, plus for 2024 we have requested an additional $20 contribution to the Legal Defense Fund (see below the payment options for more information). We offer two convenient ways to pay online, as described below. Of course, you are welcome to pay by check instead. Mailing address is found on our Contact page.

Why do We Need a Legal Defense Fund?

As you are aware, our Annual Homeowners Association dues are only $30 per year. This nominal fee creates very tight funding for our community to operate. Did you know that it cost our Association over $13,000 in legal expenses recently to keep apartments from being built on Ruby Drive?

We did not have the necessary funds to fight the developer, but thanks to the generous donations from a few homeowners in our Association, we raised the funds to fight the developer in court and we won. As a result, instead of building apartments, the developer was only allowed to build nice single-family homes.

With recently passed Washington housing legislation (see reverse side of this page for further information), we are again defending our bylaws that strive to keep our community aligned with the values and environment that likely attracted you to this neighborhood. As a result, we are faced with legal expenses to protect our community, and we have secured legal assistance to submit formal notification letters to The City of Lakewood to defend our bylaws.

We need your help to ensure ONLY single-family homes occupy our 4th Addition. We ask that you add a $20 contribution to our Legal Defense Fund so we can continue to protect our neighborhood from homeowner
attempts to circumvent our rules, regulations, covenants and bylaws.
